Pirates fall to Whitman in NWC tournament championship match
By: Cody Wright WALLA WALLA, Wash. 鈥� Whitworth University fell 4-0 to host Whitman College in the Northwest Conference tournament championship match on Saturday morning at Whitman Tennis Courts. The Pirates finished the 2026 season with a 13-7 overall record and 11-3 NWC record, capped by their first NWC tournament championship match appearance in program history. The Blues (17-5, 14-0 NWC) earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA DIII tournament. Whitman won its first two doubles matches to claim the first match point.
