BELMONT, N.C. — Top-seed Belmont Abbey hit a season-high .435 and Zach Puentes recorded his third double-double of the season, leading Belmont Abbey to a 3-0 (30-28, 25-18, 25-13) victory over No. 4 North Greenville in the semifinals of the Conference Carolina men’s volleyball tournament Saturday afternoon, With the win, the Crusaders improve to 19-5 overall and will play for a third straight tournament title and NCAA bid tomorrow.
