Crimson Hawks respond with doubleheader sweep
INDIANA, Pa. — The IUP baseball team split its four-game series with Clarion by sweeping Saturday's doubleheader, winning 9-2 and 13-6 after dropping both games Friday. IUP entered the day battling Clarion for playoff positioning and created separation in the standings. The Crimson Hawks also recognized 13 seniors before the games. In Game 1, Nathan Mankoski delivered his best outing of the season, pitching a seven-inning complete game and allowing two runs on five hits.
