Concord Places Fifth at Jasmine Claggett Invite
BUCKHANNON, W.Va. 鈥� The Concord University women’s track & field team finished fifth at the Jasmine Claggett Invite hosted by West Virginia Wesleyan Saturday at Cebe Ross Field. Concord tallied 36.5 points. The team winner was WVWC with 169 points. Three Mountain Lions finished in the top eight of the 100-meter dash with junior Kiley Smich sprinting a career-best time of 13.18 seconds and finishing fourth. The sophomore duo of Kendall Lilly (13.49 seconds) and Jenna Webb (13.83 seconds) were seventh and eighth, respectively. Smich accounted for points in the 200-meter dash.
