Cole Sweeps Sprints as Men鈥檚 Track and Field Posts Strong Showing at Trinity Invitational
Hartford, CT — Alex Cole (Weymouth, MA) swept the sprint events and WPI posted a pair of victories in the relay and pole vault Saturday at the Trinity Invitational. Cole captured the 100-meter dash in 10.76 before returning to win the 200-meter dash in 21.75 as WPI continued to show impressive depth across the sprint events. WPI finished second in the team standings with 126 points. RPI won the meet with 186 points, while Hartford was third with 99.5 and Trinity placed fourth with 72.
