Baseball Splits Doubleheader, Earns Series Win Over SWOSU
WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Henderson State split a doubleheader with Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday, dropping the opener 11-1 before responding with a 7-1 win in the second game. Game 1: SWOSU 11, HSU 1 Southwestern Oklahoma State broke the game open in the first inning and Henderson State never recovered in an 11-1 loss. Henderson State took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Nate Moore doubled and later scored on a groundout by Tanner Ross. The run came in unearned after a throwing error.
