Underwood’s Shutout, Walk-Off Win Lead SAU to Split
SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University softball team split a Crossroads League doubleheader on Friday at the Cougar Softball Field, walking off with a 1-0 win in game one before falling 4-1 in the nightcap to Huntington University. The Cougars move to 24-20 overall and 15-15 in conference play. Game one featured a pitcher’s duel between Emilee Underwood and Huntington’s Kinzie Mollenkopf, with both teams held scoreless through six innings.
