Ramirez and Curry Jr. Selected to Attend Black Student-Athlete Summit
FORT VALLEY, Ga- Representing the Fort Valley State University's Athletic Department and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on a national platform, student-athletes Jennifer Ramirez (softball) and Donte Curry Jr. (football) have been selected to attend the Black Student-Athlete Summit, held May 20鈥�23, 2026 at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Chosen as representatives of the SIAC, Ramirez and Curry Jr. will participate as part of the NCAA Office of Inclusion, Education and Community Engagement partnership, which provides HBCU student-athletes with opportunities for leadership development, career preparation, and national networking.
