CWRU Softball Bests UChicago in Five Innings, 11-3
The Case Western Reserve University softball team picked up a run-rule victory at the University of Chicago on Friday afternoon, opening the three-game series at the Stagg Grass Fields in Chicago with an 11-3 win in five innings over the Maroons. The win was the fifth consecutive victory for the Spartans, who improved to 19-9 overall with a 7-3 University Athletic Association record, remaining just one game back in the loss column for first place in the league.
