Boyd Breaks School Record in 3,000m Steeplechase in California
AZUSA AND LA VERNE, Calif. – The Black Hills State University men’s and women’s track & field teams were back in action in the first day of a trip to southern California for distance runners, competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Leopard Invitational on Thursday. During the day a pair of times were added to the All-Time Yellow Jacket Performance List as the day began with Gavin Kuhlenbeck running the fourth-fastest time in school history in the 10,000m run at the Bryan Clay Invitational, and Evie Boyd later breaking a 21-year old school record in the 3,000m steeplechase…
