Back-to-Back Titles: Scarlet Raiders Repeat as ECAC Champions
NEWARK, N.J. 鈥� The Rutgers-Newark men’s volleyball team captured its second consecutive ECAC Championship on Friday, delivering a dominant performance on its home court with a pair of straight-set victories inside The Golden Dome. The Scarlet Raiders opened the tournament with a 3-0 sweep of Ramapo in the semifinal round. Michael Suarez led the offensive effort with 10 kills, while Harry Takyi added seven. Duncan Sturt orchestrated the attack with 27 assists, guiding Rutgers-Newark to a balanced and efficient performance in the win.
