Amos Produces Standout Goalkeeping Effort in Women’s Lacrosse Road Win
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Frostburg State Women’s Lacrosse team took down Point Park 16-3 in their road Friday match-up. PPU took the opening draw, however senior Neila Haney quickly got FSU their first possession by causing a turnover, which led to the freshmen combination of Maddie Russell to Delaney Burrows for the game’s first goal. Sophomore Liz Amos began her outstanding day in net by making a pair of saves over the next three minutes, as Russell converted a free position at the other end.
