Track & Field Kicks Off Weekend at Opening Night of Wake Forest Invitational
WINSTON SALEM, N.C. – Harvard track & field began the weekend down south in Winston Salem, North Carolina, as the Crimson were stellar on the opening night of the Wake Forest Invitational. HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS The evening began with the men’s 800m open, as first-year Andrew Thornton-Sherman finished in fourth place in his heat after crossing the finish line in 1:52.47. A native of Waterford, Vermont, Thornton-Sherman’s time is the fastest in his early collegiate career.
