Softball Series against Winthrop Shifted for Weather
FARMVILLE, Va. 鈥� Due to weather in the area on Sunday, the Longwood softball series against Winthrop has been shifted. The series will now begin with a single game Friday at 6 p.m., at Bank of the James Park. Senior day festivities, originally scheduled prior to the final game of the series will now be before the first game of the Saturday doubleheader at 1 p.m. Both game of the doubleheader will be streamed on ESPN+. The Lancers enter the weekend 21-27 overall and 7-5 in the Big South while Winthrop is 24-19 and 9-3, respectively.
