Lions Top Warriors 6-1
ALTOONA, Pa. – Penn State Altoona men’s tennis competed in their final regular season game Thursday evening, defeating non-conference opponent Lycoming College 6-1. Penn State Altoona (11-5) got ahead early after defeating Lycoming (3-9) in all three doubles matches. The Lions added to their lead in singles, winning five of six to achieve a five-point match victory. In No. 1 doubles, duo Nick Beard (Manns Choice, PA/Bedford) and Gabriel Lopez (Wilmette, IL/New Trier Township) recorded their ninth victory together, a 6-3 win over their opponents.
