Judge rules on Owen Heinecke鈥檚 eligibility case
Oklahoma linebacker Owen Heinecke will be eligible for the 2026 season. That official ruling was handed down by Cleveland County judge Thad Balkman on Thursday afternoon. According to SoonerScoop鈥檚 George Stoia, Balkman said the NCAA 鈥渇ailed to consider the totality of the case鈥� when initially denying Heinecke eligibility for 2026. As a result, Balkman decided to grant the injunction, effectively making Heinecke eligible for another season of college football.
