Wesley Bird Herald Staff [email protected] The Burgin Bulldogs track and field team participated in the AJ’s Heart of the Bluegrass track Classic on Saturday, April 11. The Bulldogs girls’ track team placed 16th out of 25 schools, scoring 22.5 points. Burgin came away with a pair of bronze medals at the meet. Senior Raegan Taylor placed third in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 49.19, and sophomore Maddie Peavler finished third in discus with a distance of 108-09.
