Women鈥檚 Tennis Shuts Out Delhi, 7-0, in Season Finale
ONEONTA, N.Y. — The Oneonta women’s tennis team ended their season on a high note, dismantling SUNY Delhi in a 7-0 shutout victory Wednesday afternoon at Dr. Heissan ’63 Tennis Courts. Oneonta only dropped three games against Delhi and won a singles and doubles court by default. Junior Haley Peck (West Point, N.Y./James I. O’Neil) , sophomore Taylor Plue (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) , and freshman Kiersten Rufrano (Oneonta, NY) all shutout their respective singles opponents for a double bagel victory. “Very happy we were able to take the match today with ease, 7-0,” said Head Coach Brian Roser .…
