SURPRISE, Ariz.---The Biola women's tennis team battled to the very end but fell 4–3 to nationally-ranked No. 33 Point Loma in the quarterfinals of the PacWest Championships. Entering the tournament as the No. 7 seed, the Eagles pushed the No. 2-seeded Sea Lions to the brink. Point Loma captured the doubles point and carried a 1–0 lead into singles play.
