WestConn Drilled Two Out the Park In Doubleheader Loss to RIC
PROVIDENCE, R.I. 鈥� Alexis Resto (Shelton, Conn.) and Victoria Wiatrak (Cromwell, Conn.) both sent the ball soaring out of left field, but the Western Connecticut State University softball team dropped a Little East Conference (LEC) doubleheader at Rhode Island College on Tuesday. WestConn lost a close contest in game one 10-7, but RIC took a commanding 12-1 win in game two. The Wolves moved to 10-16 and 1-7 in the league, while the Anchormen improved to 19-7 and 4-2.
