UMSL’s Rieder Named To College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Team
ST. LOUIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball junior Mara Rieder added another postseason accolade on Wednesday as she was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® team. She is a second team honoree. Rieder becomes the 27th Triton student-athlete to earn Academic All-America® honors and is the first from the women's basketball program to bestowed the prestigious accolade. She is the fourth UMSL student-athlete during the 2025-26 school year to earn the distinction joining Taylor Martin (women's soccer) and Sklyar Weaver and Alayna Santel (volleyball).
