NORMAN, Okla . — Cal State San Bernardino men's golf assistant coach Troy Nielsen has been named a finalist for the 2026 Jan Strickland Outstanding Assistant Coach Award, presented by TaylorMade Golf Company. The Strickland Award is presented annually to an assistant coach across all collegiate divisions who has demonstrated excellence in developing student-athletes both on the course and in the classroom. Two recipients will be selected—one from Division I and one from the non-Division I ranks.
