Tornga鈥檚 pitching lifts Mona Shores to baseball victory over Caledonia
LocalSportsJournal.com Mona Shores posted a 6-2 victory over Caledonia on Tuesday in the first game of an OK-Green baseball doubleheader. The second game was suspended with the game tied at 4-all. Owen Tornga was dominant on the mound. He allowed no hits and struck out nine. JP Charron finished the game and earned the save. The Sailors were led offensively by Braylon Facchini, Grady Gawkowski, and Julian Thielbar with two hits each. In the suspended second game, Charron has two hits and a run.
