Stafford Tabbed NE10 Field Athlete of the Week
North Attleboro, Mass. - After a season-opening heptathlon, junior Gabrielle Stafford has been selected as the Northeast 10 Field Athlete of the Week, announced on Tuesday. Stafford posted the region's best multis score this spring with her effort at The College of New Jersey, while also setting a PR in the specialty. She did best in the javelin, throwing 40.85m for second place and securing an Adelphi program record.
