Softball Falls to Florida Atlantic on Wednesday Night
BOCA RATON, Fla. — FIU's softball program was defeated by Florida Atlantic 7-1 on Wednesday evening in non-conference play. The Panthers (28-14) fell to the Owls (27-16) in their final non-conference tilt of the season. Leah Clark's solo homer in the sixth inning, her fifth of the season, accounted for FIU's lone run. Offensively, the Panthers had eight hits, seven singles and Clark's homer. In the circle, Megan Kruger (0-1) pitched four innings and allowed five earned runs on 72 pitches.
