STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island women's basketball team leaned on the standout play of Kyra Rose and Shonyae Edmonds throughout the 2025–26 season. The duo powered the Dolphins on both ends of the floor, earning East Coast Conference (ECC) honors and, most recently, recognition from the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA). Rose, a Jersey City, NJ native, delivered a career-best senior campaign.
