Pota and Preston Earn Third LEC Athlete of the Week Honors
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the third time this season, Isabella Pota (East Meadow, N.Y.) and Madison Preston (Brookfield, Conn.) were named Little East Conference (LEC) Athlete of the Week after the Western Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse team won both of their matchups. Pota was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Preston earned Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Pota scored 12 goals with two assists for 14 total points in a 2-0 week for the now league-leading Wolves.
