Late Lions Rally not Enough as they Fall to Asbury in Extra Innings
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Mount St. Joseph baseball team hosted the Asbury Eagles on Tuesday night at Midland Field in Batavia for a non-conference matchup. Asbury led most of the way but the Lions tied the game in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings, eventually falling 8-6. The Lions sent Zach deSylva to the mound to start the game, the sophomore threw the front 2.2 innings allowing four hits and two unearned runs.
