Kennedi Winbush Named OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week
By Caden Smith, TTU Athletics Media Relations COOKEVILLE, Tenn. 鈥� Freshman sprinter Kennedi Winbush of Tennessee Tech has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week after a standout showing at the Tennessee Invite, marking the best outdoor performance of her young collegiate career. Competing against a deep and competitive field in Knoxville, Winbush turned in two personal-best efforts, posting times of 11.72 in the 100 meters and 23.83 in the 200 meters.
