The Virginia Union University Golf Team demonstrated academic excellence by winning the Dr. Freddie Vaughn Award for the highest team GPA (3.71) during the 2024鈥�25 academic year at the CIAA Championships held on April 13-14, 2026, at Mill Creek Golf Club. Competing strongly against eight teams, VUU finished 6th overall, highlighted by Freshman Juan Solano's T11 finish with a total score of 224. The team鈥檚 performance showed significant improvement, achieving a total score of 917 over three rounds and concluding the season by breaking 300 with a final round of 297. Head Coach E.
