Cordoba wins LSC award with nation-topping throw
Kingsville - Junior Texas A&M-Kingsville women's track and field thrower Yosiris Cordoba earned the second Lone Star Conference Field Athlete of the Week award of her career with the best throw in the nation so far this season in the discus. She tossed an incredible 53.57m in the event on Saturday at the 2026 Cactus Cup in Kingsville, breaking her own school record.
