Blazers Drop Midweek Contest to Georgia College
VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Valdosta State baseball team (15-28) dropped its midweek matchup to Georgia College (17-23) by a 13-1 final Wednesday evening at Billy Grant Field. The two sides played through a scoreless first two innings before Georgia College broke through in the third and continued to build separation with multi-run frames in the fourth, fifth, and seventh innings. The Blazers were held to one run by a Georgia College pitching staff that combined for a no-hitter.
