Yount Claims Medalist Honors, Comets 6th at LSC Championship
ROCKWALL, Texas – UT Dallas sophomore Brooke Yount won individual medalist honors at the 2026 Lone Star Conference Women’s Golf Championship on Tuesday at the Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club. Yount, from League City, Texas, won by four shots, firing a third-round 66, which also set a new school record for best 18-hole score. As a team, the Comets shot a 299-311-304=914 (+50), which was the fourth-best 54-hole team score in UTD history.
