WSC ties for third in close team race at Wildcat Classic
The Wayne State College women's golf team finished in a tie for third place in a close team race at the two-day Wildcat Classic played Monday and Tuesday at the Wayne Country Club. The Wildcats shot rounds of 304 and 305 to close the 36-hole event at 609. Nebraska-Kearney used a +6 team score on the final day to capture the team title shooting 308-294 for a 602, six shots ahead of second place Concordia-St. Paul at 608.
