Women鈥檚 Tennis Falls to Smith
Northampton, Mass. – April 14, 2026 – The Springfield College women’s tennis team was defeated by New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opponent Smith on Tuesday afternoon, 5-2. The Bears improve to 6-7 overall and 3-2 in the conference while the Pride drop to 8-5, 4-2. Smith swept all of the doubles matches as Erica Jud (Glen Head, N.Y.) and Alysa Elliott (Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia) battled against Ayla Hauser and Natazya Simunyola, losing a close 7-6 match at No. 2 doubles.
