Women鈥檚 Tennis battles in final home matches
HOUGHTON, Mich. 鈥� The Michigan Tech women's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a pair of matches at Gates Tennis Center. The Huskies fell 7-0 to Grand Valley State on Friday and 4-3 in a long match against Davenport on Saturday. Alexandra Nikonenko and Katerina Khardina won 7-5 at No. 3 doubles Friday in the lone victory against the Lakers. Emily Cojocaru won her first set at No. 3 singles before falling in three. Against the Panthers on Saturday, four of the singles matches went to three sets with the Black and Gold taking a three of them....
