Women’s Golf Posts Strong Second Round at Kaitlyn Erickson Doane Invitational
LINCOLN, Neb. — Nebraska Wesleyan women’s golf closed the Kaitlyn Erickson Doane Invitational with a seventh-place finish out of 13 teams, posting a two-round total of 738 (377-361) across Wilderness Ridge Country Club on Monday and Pioneers Golf Course on Tuesday. The Prairie Wolves saved their best golf for last, trimming 16 strokes off their opening score to card a 361 in the final round, the most encouraging sign of a 71-player field that saw host Doane claim the team title at plus-70.
