Westminster wins twice at Waynesburg
WAYNESBURG, Pa.–Behind a pair of terrific starts by freshman Jacob Harrelson (Canal Fulton, Ohio, Green) and junior Jon Albers (Corry, Pa., Corry), the Westminster baseball team scored a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) sweep Tuesday at Waynesburg, winning game one 11-0 before snagging a 6-1 weather-shortened victory in the nightcap. Game two was called with one out in the top of the sixth due to severe weather in the Greene County area. Westminster ran its overall record to 20-8 overall and 11-3 in the conference.
