Washburn Pulls Away from FHSU Late in Midweek MIAA Action
HAYS, Kan. 鈥� Fort Hays State fell to Washburn by a score of 13-5 on Tuesday (Apr. 14) at Larks Park. The Tigers and Ichabods were tied 1-1 through four innings, but the Ichabods pulled away from the fifth inning onward for the eight-run victory. FHSU moved to 12-27 overall and 9-20 in the MIAA, while Washburn went to 17-23 overall and 13-13 in the MIAA.
