KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Washburn women's basketball had ten players recognized by the MIAA for their academic success being named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday morning by the conference. Additionally, both Payton Sterk and Gabi Giovannetti were recognized as MIAA Scholar Athletes. To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution.
