Tanchanpongs Earns CCS Rookie of the Week
ATLANTA, Ga. — Covenant women’s tennis freshman Maisie Tanchanpongs earned the CCS Rookie of the Week designation, announced the conference on Tuesday. The honor is the second such honor for Tanchanpongs this season, and sixth CCS weekly honor overall this season. Tanchanpongs continued her strong freshman campaign with a perfect 2-0 record in singles and doubles. In singles, she earned identical 6-1, 6-2 victories against Huntingdon and Belhaven, while in doubles, Tanchanpongs secured a 7-5 win at the No. 1 position against Huntingdon and added a default victory against Belhaven.
