BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Freshman Seth Staggs has been named the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Monday. Staggs becomes the first Charger freshman to earn the honor this season and the first since Sean Lapinskes received the award on February 18, 2025. Over the past five years, only a handful of Chargers have earned the distinction, including Carson Villalta (2021), Jackson Lindsey (2022), Will Noles (2022), and Lapinskes last season.
