Orono, Maine -- The America East Conference announced on Tuesday morning that Hunter St. Denis of the University of Maine baseball program was named the Rookie of the Week following a non-conference weekend against Northeastern and Merrimack. St. Denis, a freshman out of Laytonsville, MD, hit .500 and drove in seven runs in a 2-1 weekend for the Black Bears. He started off his weekend by going 2-for-3 and driving in four of the five runs in a 5-0 win over Northeastern.
