Softball Sweeps King鈥檚
The Misericordia University softball team moved into a tie for first place in the MAC Freedom with a sweep of King’s, Tuesday at Tambur Field. The Cougars won 4-1 and 13-5 in six innings to improve to 19-9 overall and 8-2 in league play. Casey Funesti had a double and a homer and drove in two runs and Gabby Cruz didn’t allow an earned run over seven innings.
