Softball Splits DH with Alvernia; Wins Game One 10-9
Center Valley, PA (April 14, 2026) – The DeSales University softball team split a non-conference doubleheader with Alvernia University on Tuesday afternoon at McGettigan Park. Game One (W/10-9) DSU was in control in this one leading 5-2 thru four innings after a two-RBI single from sophomore Kylie Llewellyn and RBI single from sophomore Gianna Angermeier . Alvernia rallied with six runs in the fifth inning to take an 8-5 lead. First-year Mary Kovaleski had an RBI single and DSU tied the game at eight in the fifth inning.
