Softball earns split at Fredonia; falls, 3-2, wins 7-1
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT Softball team split a doubleheader at Fredonia, Tuesday, bouncing back from a 3-2 loss in the opener for a 7-1 win in game-two. FREDONIA 3, RIT 2 Sophomore Anna Cavotta went 2-for-4 with a triple and scored a run while sophomore Madeleine Barstow was 2-for-3 with a double and run scored. Fredonia opened the scoring with an unearned run in the third and plated two more unearned runs in the fourth for a 3-0 lead.
