Smith Basketball Named NCAA Statistical Champion in Two Categories
NORTHAMPTON – Smith College basketball was named the NCAA Statistical Champion in two categories, the NCAA Media Coordination and Statistics Staff announced. The Bears led the country in field goal percentage and three-point field field goal percentage in 2025-26. The Bears finished the 2025-26 season with a 28-2 record, averaging 74.0 points per game and won by an average of 22.8 points. Smith paced the country in shooting percentage (46.56%) and three-point field goal percentage (40.14%).
