Schultz gets win at No. 5 singles in loss to Carleton
NORTHFIELD, Minn . – Sophomore Jacob Schultz won a lengthy match at No. 5 singles for the St. Olaf College men’s tennis team in a 6-1 loss to Carleton College on Tuesday afternoon at Pat Lamb Tennis Courts. Schultz provided the lone point for St. Olaf (7-8, 3-3 MIAC) by winning a super tiebreak at No. 5 singles, but Carleton (16-5, 7-0 MIAC) stayed unbeaten in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play by sweeping the three doubles matches and taking the other five singles matches in straight sets.
