Raptors suffer two shutouts, one no-hitter as Rowan sweeps NJAC softball twinbill
CAMDEN, N.J. (April 14, 2026) – The Rutgers University-Camden softball team had little to show for its doubleheader battle against national power Rowan University here Tuesday. The Profs hurled shutouts in both games, winning the opener, 14-0, in five innings on the eight-run mercy rule and then no-hitting the Scarlet Raptors, 4-0, in the nightcap. Rowan, which jumped three spots to #20 in Tuesday’s National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III poll, improved to 25-7 overall and 10-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
