Penguins place first in final tune-up before conference
CHICO, Calif.- Dominican women's golf competed in the Chico State Invitational the last couple of days and ran the table finishing on top at the Butte Creek Country Club. Ellexis Mingming , the junior captain, led the way for the Pengs finishing the tournament tied for fifth. The Walnut Creek native flashed her consistency during the past two days posting a 78 each day to go along a total of 14 pars.
